RARE ESKIMO SMOKING TOBACCO SLIP LID TOBACCO TIN. Near mint condition. Wonderful picture of husky dog and igloos. Measures 6" in height with a 4 1/4" diameter. Circa 1910. Tin manufactured by the Thos. Davidson MFG, Co. Limited Montreal. Factory No.6 Port 13-D. Gold litho lid has a couple of tiny dings and tin itself has a couple of very minor nicks or dings. A very scarce Canadian tin in excellent overall condition.

MAYO'S TOBACCO CUT PLUG PAPER LABEL SLIP TOP CANISTER. c. 1890'S. Measures 6 1/4" in height with a 5" diameter. Mayo's cut plug for smoking and chewing. The paper label is in excellent condition and has patent date of Sept. 19th 1893 printed on it. It is also printed "SUGAR" on back indicating it would be saved and used as a sugar canister after using tobacco contents. The lid is stuck on the tin. There is something rattling around inside, possible small screws or nails. For a paper label tin it would be hard to find a better one.

On lid are lithographed  images of Parliament buildings 1892, Parliament building 1832, City Hall 1842,City Hall 1899,Christie Brown & Co. factory in 1874 and again in 1902. Interior of lid has image of Board of Trade Building Opened 1892. Christie Brown & Co. Limited Toronto logo along with July 1 to July 4-1903 dates on both sides. Industry Intelligence Integrity coat of arms on other 2 sides. Tin is in great overall condition with minor nicks,scratches or signs of wear. Fabulous tin in great condition.

J.S FRY & SONS (CANADA) LTD. MONTREAL COCOA & CHOCOLATE MANUFACTURERS LITHOGRAPHED FIGURAL TIN. Circa 1900. Measures 4 1/4" in height X 4" in width X 3" in depth. Highly lithographed tin was sold with chocolate inside and meant to be  kept and used as a savings bank thereafter. Tin shows a finely detailed bank. Slot in top for coins. Keyhole on front. Lock mechanism and key missing. Bank in beautiful overall condition.

KEEN'S MUSTARD TIN. Circa 1890's. Tin from Keen, Robinson & Co. Manufacturers of Keen's Mustard London. Figural tin measures 6 3/4" in length and width and 5 1/2" in height. There are five different lithographed scenes on this tin. One on top and  different ones on all four sides. The captions on each side are titled, The Shepherds Boy, The Old Man and His Son, The Ass and his Master,The Dog in the Manger and on top The Dog and the Shadow. Litho on this tin is as good as you'll ever get. Very, very minor wear or scratches. Inside has second lid (missing handle). Beautiful overall condition.

Measures 7 1/2" in height X 6" in width with a 3 1/4" depth. Colors are amazing. Blues, oranges and reds pop out. Minor wear or rust. Displays great.

KEEN'S  MUSTARD FIGURAL TIN. C. 1900. Originally sold with dry mustard. Tin is decorated on all four sides and top with lithographed images of butter flies, dragon flies and cherubs on all four corners. Two sides are titled spring and summer. Two sides are titled morning and night. Tin measures 7" square by 5 1/2" in height. Lithography is in excellent condition with very minor wear. Paper label inside lid is intact.
