Oliver Chilled Plows Wood Advertising Sign
OLIVER CHILLED PLOWS WOOD SIGN. Circa 1900. Sign was recently found in a barn in New Brunswick. Measures 95" in length X 12 1/2" in width. It has a gritty sand finish that is original. This very rare sign is in wonderful all original condition. It is missing the right side end piece. ( 12 1/2" long) that can easily be replaced. Fabulous and rare...

WINNIPEG FREE PRESS PORCELAIN ADVERTISING THERMOMETER. Circa 1920's. Measures 39" in length X 8" in width. Cobalt blue lettering on white back ground. Has a date of Pat. March 16, 1915 on it. Chipped at top,bottom mounting holes and one at top of thermometer slot. A few other scattered tiny nicks. Some of the numbers indicating temperature are faded. Overall in decent condition.

This early train yards sign was made by sign maker Acton Burrows Co. Toronto. Measures 16" in length X 9" in width. Circa 1900. Porcelain is deep cobalt blue with white letters. Has a couple of very minor chips.

WWII LARGE "COME ON CANADA" LITHOGRAPHED POSTER. Measures 36" in length X 24" in width. Poster is signed "HUBERT ROGERS 42 OTTAWA" Printed in Canada. There is an address sticker on bottom right hand corner by a previous owner of the poster. There are some fold marks where it was previously folded possibly for shipping. Currently shrink wrapped. Guaranteed to be old and from the WWII period.

Islamic Republic Anti-American Propaganda Poster
ISLAMIC REPUBLIC CIRCA 1970'S ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA POSTER.Measures 26 1/2" in length X 19 1/2" in width. Translation of poster reads "ISLAMIC REPUBLIC...FIGHT WITH GOD AGAINST THE INFIDELS, GOD WILL TORTURE THEM IN HELL AND LEAD US TO VICTORY". Poster is artist signed "H. HOSSEINE". An internet search of this artist only shows 1 other example (also anti-American) of his work dated 1979. Interesting image of an arm growing out of the oil fields, with the hand wrapped around an Americans snake head. Poster was folded at one time so there are light creases in it. Nice colors and excellent overall condition. Currently shrink wrapped.

LOWE BROTHERS PORCELAIN ENAMEL TWO SIDED PAINT FLANGE SIGN. Circa 1930's. Measures 18\' in length X 12\' in width. Blue,red,white and yellow colors are strong on both sides. Tiny, tiny edge nicks and tiny chips but nothing major. Sign could use a good waxing but we don't like to do that we leave it up to the next owner to decide. Sign displays very nicely. This is one of those signs with thick layered porcelain.

TEMPLETON'S DRUG STORE DISPLAY CABINET. Circa 1950's. This cabinet would of sat on a pharmacy or drug store counter displaying various brands of Templeton's products. There are 14 display boxes inside the sealed cabinet and each cardboard box has an individual price of product marked on the box. Cabinet is made of wood with a glass front. Marquis on top is polished steel and reads "TEMPLETON'S For Fast Relief". On the bottom of the cabinet is stamped "Property of Templeton's Ltd. 56 Colborne St. Toronto". Great medicinal item. Measures 17 1/2" in height X 10 3/4" in width with a depth of 7 3/4". Excellent overall condition.

S.S. METAGAMA CANADIAN PACIFIC TRANS ATLANTIC -TRANS CANADA -TRANS PACIFIC LARGE LITHOGRAPHED OCEAN LINER PRINT.C 1920's. Print was used in either a travel agency or shipping offices. Print measures 35" in length X 23 1/2" in width. Mahogany frame measures 40 1/4" in length X 29" in width. It is artist signed by Norman Wilkinson. Original frame has a few very tiny nicks in it.

Measures 19" in length X 14 1/2" in width. There is a tiny nail hole at top center that should not be there. Celluloid us in excellent condition with only one 1/2" long tear. Not serious. Great graphics and color.
